What’s Biomimetic?
“Biomimetic” is a term you may hear in our office. It refers to creating dental restorations and prosthetics that mimic nature. In function, feel, and appearance, our dental restorations and cosmetic applications look completely natural and endure for years. We use safe dental materials, technology, and techniques to deliver an over-the-top experience and excellent results.
Our general, restorative, & prosthetic dental services include:
- Checkups & Cleanings: Every six months, you need a thorough dental checkup and periodontal cleaning to keep your mouth healthy and fresh. Using a DIAGNOdent laser, Dr. Bilello will inspect each tooth for decay, and our hygienists use ultrasonic tools for comfortable, effective dental cleanings.
- Biomimetic, Same-Day Crowns, Inlays, & Onlays: With our in-office E4D milling machine and special software, we create and place natural-looking crowns and ¾ crowns in a single office visit.
- Composite Dental Fillings: Mercury-free and metal-free composite resin dental fillings are tinted to match tooth enamel for a seamless appearance.
- Children’s Dentistry: We welcome kids! From orthodontics to dental sealants, we provide a full scope of children’s dental services.
- Bruxism Appliances: Stop nighttime teeth grinding for good with a custom bruxism appliance.
- TMJ Treatment: Jaw pain, headaches, and bruxism end when a TMJ patient wears a custom mouthguard. The device retrains jaw muscles to hold the jaw in proper alignment for a balanced, comfortable bite.

Treatment Planning
At your appointment, Dr. Bilello will perform a comprehensive head, neck, and oral examination. He’ll inspect your jaw joints, dental health and alignment, soft tissues, and the overall function and appearance of your mouth. We may take digital X-rays, which expose patients to 90% less radiation than traditional radiology while providing high-resolution images on a chairside monitor.
If he sees cause for treatment, Dr. Bilello will explain his findings, answer all of your questions, and develop an ultra-conservative treatment plan to restore good oral health and comfortable function. Because he is cosmetic-focused, Dr. Bilello works with an excellent ceramist who makes restorations that look beautiful and natural.
Financial Considerations
We accept most major insurances as an out-of-network provider and will create an estimate of services that reflects your coverage. Expect to pay your co-pay, if you have insurance, at your visit. Non-insured patients will need to pay for treatment at their appointments, as well. We also work with a third-party patient financing institution, CareCredit, that makes larger treatment plans affordable with a monthly payment plan. So if you need financing, please ask!
